Automate and Grow Your Web Business

The high rates of unemployment have pushed many people to be self employed. When you’re self-employed, then you’re likely a freelancer or a business owner.

One of the most viable fields for freelance work is the website development field. Today, nearly everyone wants their own little corner of the Internet with their very own website. On the other hand, not too many have the skills it takes to get it done. When you know how to create even basic websites, you can start up an actual business.

Many international web hosting companies offer reseller web hosting plans which you can use to sub host all your clients. In this session, we shall discuss the various tools like WHMCS and the WHMCS Bridge WordPress plugins which you can use to automate administration of all aspects of your web hosting business including client management, support, invoicing and payments.

Uganda Mobile Money Woocommerce Payment Gateways

This is a topic which I shared about during a recent WordPress meetup, and got great feedback, so I decided to extend the discussion during the wordcamp.

Sharing with fellow website developers during one of the meetups this year.

During this session, I will be sharing experiences integrating mobile money payments on #Woocommerce powered websites.
Mobile Money is the most popular and convenient way of doing electronic money transfers in Uganda, and many e-commerce shop owners need to integrate mobile money payment method on their websites, most of which are running on WordPress and Woocommerce software.

There are several developers that have responded to this need by creating WordPress plugins to help simplify the process of integration of mobile money payments as a gateway in Woocommerce powered websites.

During this session, we shall discuss and demo the several plugins available today such as EasyPay, CashLeo, FlutterWave, JPesa, PesaPal, Yo! Payments Uganda etc.
